Shopping List
- 2lbs or 4-5 cups fresh gooseberries (See Hill Orchard)
- Sugar (to taste)
- 1 1/2 cups plain flour
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Make It
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a baking dish with non-stick spray.
- Place gooseberries in baking dish. Sprinkle generously with sugar.
- Place flour and butter into a food processor. Process until mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs.
- Stir in brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Top berries with crumble mix.
- Bake until top is browned and fruit begins to bubble (about 30 minutes).
- Let stand a bit before serving.
