Amy Dempster is a Digital Marketing Manager at Bright Horizons Family Solutions. She uses her marketing skills to help manage the farmer's market online presence including its Web site, weekly e-newsletter, Facebook page and Twitter account. This season she has enjoyed contributing to the market's weekly column in the Westford Eagle giving her the opportunity to learn more about the interesting and colorful vendors that comprise the market.
Prior to working at Bright Horizons, Amy owned her own business providing cooking and nutrition instruction to children and their families. Her life passion is to help children and their families develop a healthy relationship with food. Volunteering at the farmer's market helps Amy to continue to pursue this goal.
Amy lives with her husband (Brian), daughter (Olivia) and 2 dogs (Winston & Molly) in Westford. She is a novice backyard gardener but enjoys learning something new each season - even when chipmunks devour her entire tomato crop. In her free time (ha-ha) she likes to cook, snowboard, hike, visit Maine, go to concerts, and...she doesn't really have much more time for anything else.
