Chef Vic, owner of Fiore D'Italia, a favorite vendor of the Westford Farmers Market and a participating chef of the Chef Moves to Schools project, will help expand your knowledge of one of the most versatile and favorite foods - sauces! In this demonstration you will learn the basic characteristics and techniques for preparing a range of classic and contemporary sauces. Using fresh local ingredients and simple recipes, learn how to layer additional ingredients to expand your knowledge of the many variations to create quick and tasty meals.
You'll also discover ideal fresh pastas to pair with these sauces such as fresh homemade raviolis, gnochi and fettucini. Sit down, relax and enjoy the flavorful sauces and pastas that are featured to round out the your evening with friends or family. Sample sauces: red, cream, pesto, vodka and mushroom sauces depends on availability at time of ordering.
